J. David Collins, LCSW-C, BCD, MAC, DCSW, C-ASWCM, SAP is a clinical social worker specializing in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders. David has built JDCA to provide mental health and substance abuse services on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We now have thrree locations: Salisbury, Cambridge and Princess Anne.
With over fifteen years experience as a counselor, and as a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work specializing in Clinical Practice, he has a long association with medical and mental health professionals throughout the community. Among his areas of expertise are addictions, couples counseling, mood disorders, trauma and clinical supervision,.
David is an interactive, solution-focused psychotherapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.
